Utica Beats Mt. Gilead 10-3; Improves to 14-3

Utica's Bobby Phillips (3-1) allowed one earned run, scattered four hits, struck out six, and walked four in seven innings of work. After falling behind 3-0, Utica (14-3, 8-0) scored 10 unanswered runs -- scoring nine runs in the 4th, 5th and 6th innings.

The Redskins spanked out fifteen hits on the night.  Dan Wheeler had three hits including an RBI double; Justin Wohlford drilled a two-run homer in the sixth inning and had an RBI single; Phillips had an RBI double; Nick Joseph stroked two singles and had one RBI; Carter Rowley had a two-run single and Joe McGuire and Shane Conners had two singles each. – Report by Lynn Fawcett
