Utica Shuts Out East Knox 6-0 to Remain Undefeated in the MBC

Dan Wheeler struck out 14 batters in pitching a 6-0 shutout over East Knox (5-9, 2-5).   Utica improved to 12-3 with the win and remains undefeated in MBC play at 7-0.   Wheeler (5-0) scattered four hits and walked two in seven innings.  Wheeler helped his cause cracking a two-run homer along with a double.   Justin Wohlford hit a solo home run; Carter Rowley had two doubles and one RBI and his brother Charlie Rowley had an RBI double to help lift the Redskins. – Report by Lynn Fawcett
